When first coming up with this project, we searched for devices that are similar to ours to see if Safe Drive would be useful on the market. While researching we found a similar product called the Ignition Interlock. According to LifeSafer, MADD estimates it costs approximately $70 to $150 to install and around $60 to $80 per month for device monitoring and calibration. This device is very expensive and many people are not able to afford it, which is why we wanted to make something that is cheaper. Our price and products will be more appealing to buyers than those currently on the market.
